With the release of Thor 2 a few months ago, Chris Hemsworth completed his stand-alone entry in the Phase 2 Marvel films. Now, he is ready to jump head first into their next huge adventure, Avengers: Age of Ultron .
Hemsworth has been pressed in the past regarding how things will escalate in the sequel, but was hush-hush on the details (partly because he hadn’t seen a script yet). Now the actor reveals that, not only has he read it, fans are in for an even bigger adventure in round two. “Everything in Avengers is ramped up though. It kind of blew me away reading it.” He touts.
While principal photography has not yet begun, many second unit crews have already begun shooting, as well as preparing sets in London for what is expected to be a four month haul. With Joss Whedon naturally returning to the helm, Hemsworth isn’t shy in giving his very high opinion of the director. He beams:
“I don’t know how Joss does it, but everyone has just gone up another notch and the whole thing is bigger and more insane and crazy. Yeah, he’s a genius.”
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1 of next year.
