Time Magazine has recognized Microsoft’s Project Natal as one of the Top 50 Inventions of 2009. Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) commented further on the subject: “This is the third major honor Project Natal received this past month including the Popular Mechanics 2009 Breakthrough Award and Popular Science Best of What’s New Grand Award. This is great news for the industry. Congrats to the entire team for the great work they’ve accomplished so far.” Considering the device won’t launch for fully one year, hopefully all of this buzz will translate into something truly compelling for gamers.
