Project Natal Launching November 2010; More Details Inside

None

According to an MCVUK report, which details leaked information coming out of a “behind-closed-doors” Microsoft tour for UK publishers and studios, Microsoft’s camera-based motion control platform (project Natal) for Xbox 360 will make its way to market worldwide in November 2010.

Currently, Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Disney, EA, Konami, MTV, Namco Bandai, SEGA, Square Enix, THQ, and Ubisoft have all signed on to make games for Natal, but the exclusive tour and tech demos were given specifically “in order to spur more development support,” reports MCVUK.

At launch, Microsoft plans on having 5 million units fabricated for sale. This amount will be available as both a console bundle pack-in and as a solo SKU. According to the article, Natal could retail for as little as £30 – £50 in Great Britain, which would likely translate to $59.99 – $99.99 in the U.S. Also, 14 games are expected to be ready at launch.
