It was widely reported this morning that a “Microsoft Executive” in Saudi Arabia, Syed Bilal Tariq, confirmed that Microsoft’s Project Natal would be launched worldwide in October 2010, though he was unable to give an exact date. Subsequently, Microsoft has come out and denied the claim. Apparently, the confirmation that was made was strictly speculation, and the release window for the new tech is, officially, still Holiday 2010. A launch date will undoubtedly be revealed at this year’s E3 convention in Los Angeles (June 15-17). We’ll have butts in the seats, so stay tuned.
