Hearthstone is getting a huge expansion soon. The Grand Tournament is adding new gameplay elements and cards to Blizzard’s game before August ends. Yet, despite having to wait to actually use all of the shiny new things, people can already start seeing and plotting moves.
Blizzard went ahead and uploaded images of all 132 new cards to Facebook . Each class gets between nine and ten new cards, plus there are an additional 50 neutral cards.
Many of the new Hearthstone cards work with power of the hero a player has selected. This new ability is called Inspire. If you activate a Hero Power, something can automatically happen with cards in play. For example, the Nexus Champion Saraad’s Inspire ability adds a random spell to your hand when a Hero Power is used.
Blizzard is offering a $50 The Grand Tournament Pre-Purchase Bundle of 50 card packs now. If someone takes advantage of the deal, they’ll get $50 for a lower price and a unique card back.
