Too Many Sonic Games, Admits SEGA

None

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, SEGA has finally admitted that perhaps they have released “too many Sonic games” and the variation of these games has caused some damage to the Sonic brand. In an interview, Alan Pritchard (SEGA’s US Sales and Marketing boss) went on to say, “But is that really what the consumer wants? Is that what we should be doing as a publisher and a developer? We should be bringing much higher quality products to market to deliver a better experience for the consumer.” Of course, these statements come at a convenient time, as Sonic 4: Episode 1 has recently hit virtual shelves on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, and is a throwback to the old Sonic style (thankfully leaving the dreaded were-hog behind!)
