Two New Faces Join The Cast Of Injustice

None

Announced by press release, Injustice: Gods Among Us, the not-Mortal Kombat DC comics-based fighting game from NetherRealm entertainment, is getting a pair of new fighters from the universe’s Teen Titan past.

Cyborg is, as the name implies, part man and part machine. He starred alongside Robin, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy in the Cartoon Network Teen Titans animated series, but his history precedes that with appearances in the Teen Titan comics (where, apparently, he was forty years old. Because having a middle-aged dude socializing as a peer with a bunch of teenagers isn’t creepy).

Nightwing, meanwhile, is Dick Grayson’s second persona after he dropped the Robin mantle and struck off on his own. Oh, he still helps Batman from time to time, and is maybe a little more lighthearted than his film-noir inspired counterpart, but his skill-set is much the same: gadgets and acrobatic hand-to-hand combat are the order of the day.

Injustice will be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U in 2013.
