Yesterday SouthPeak Interactive announced that they were delaying the release date of Two Worlds II in order to make sure the game is the best it could be. Yet today news has surfaced that the game was postponed because SouthPeak felt the RPG market was too crowded during the 2010 holiday season. TopWare Interactive, the game’s developer, today announced that the game was indeed finished, and that the decision to move the release date to January of 2011 had merely to do with SouthPeak’s thought that the game could be overlooked in the holiday mayhem.  The additional months before the game’s release will be used to work on post-launch support and downloadable content. |
