Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Recollection

Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Recollection

None

Remember that movie Demolition Man starring Wesley Snipes and Sylvester Stallone? Remember how Taco Bell was the only restaurant left on planet earth? Well, I think that Ubisoft might be trying to do the same thing with Assassin’s Creed franchise.

There are currently 7 Assassin’s Creed titles across 12 platforms. Along with graphic novels, books and an upcoming series of films (they’ve recently registered 16 separate movie domains). I’m on to you, Ubisoft. You can’t fool me.

Either way, Ubi announced yet another Creed title called Assassin’s Creed: Recollection. Recollection is a real-time virtual board game that allows players to collect cards and do battle with them. Think Pokémon with swords.

Not much else is known about the title, and gameplay is still a bit mysterious. But according to the publisher, “players will be able to engage in deep tactical gameplay in order to outsmart their enemies in challenging political battles.” These enemies will be in the form of other players in the multiplayer mode, or NPCs during the story mode.

Assassin’s Creed: Recollection is heading to iOS this November and anyone who purchases the game will also receive a copy of the animated short “Assassin’s Creed Embers.” In the mean time, get those iDevices warmed up with a few rounds of the recently released Assassin’s Creed: Rearmed. Or go play one of the other games, read the novels, watch the cartoons, etc., etc., etc.
