UMvC3 Opens Up Reverse World. Accidentally.

If you give fighting game players enough time, they are sure to find glitches in just about any system.

An incredibly strange glitch was actually found just recently in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Being called the “Reverse World” glitch, it causes the game’s camera to strange things. The glitch is triggered by using Morrigan’s mirror image super while simultaneously using Strider’s wall cling and then attempting to tag both of them out. If you do this successfully, the camera will go black but both characters will still be onscreen somewhere. If you can manage to get them close enough to each other to land a cinematic hyper (one of the hyper moves that moves the camera) you’ll be flung into the reverse world, a strange stage where both characters are silhouetted. In addition, it reverses all move inputs on the right side and causes all assist attacks to come in from one direction.

There’s a variation of this glitch that’s just as weird but not nearly so drastic. If you do the mirror image super and wall cling at the same time and then slide down the wall so that Strider and Morrigan overlap, both will disappear off the screen. If you tag in another character after this, they will be facing the screen. Pressing back and forward makes them move toward and away from the screen, and while jumping acts the same way as usual, flying lets you move your character as normal. You can, of course, see every move and super from the front. It works with every character except Turnabout Mode Phoenix Wright.

Some have been claiming this glitch only works on the Xbox 360 version of the game, while others claim to have successfully replicated it on PS3.
