Upcoming DRIVECLUB DLC Outlined

DRIVECLUB looks to take racing on our next-gen consoles to the next level. With its photorealistic visuals and expansive online element that will connect thousands of racers, it promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience.

But gamers can expect more than just the stock gameplay right out of the box on launch day. The developer is already looking past day-one and hinting at what they have coming down the pike in regards to DLC. First off, an innovative new weather system that players can control in-order to alter the dynamic of certain races will be at the top of the list. According to Jamie Brayshaw (who is Community Development Manager at Evolution Studios), they’re already “…working hard to develop free updates that will introduce a powerful weather system (that you can play around with to change the dynamics of every race) and a photo mode, because they’ve both been requested ever since we first showed how you can control the time of day and skies in the game.”

In a post to the PlayStation.Blog , the developer touts that DRIVECLUB is an ever-evolving experience, and future content (combined with community interactions and feedback) will shape its path. With that said, you can make no better argument for owning their season pass (which clocks in at $24.99) in order to receive everything DRIVECLUB has to offer in the coming weeks, months and possibly years at a discount!

DRIVECLUB hits stores on October 7 th .
