Will Wargaming.net Be Bringing Their War Machines To Gamescom?

None

If you had the opportunity to attend this year’s E3 conference, you probably saw Wargaming.net’s tanks parked around the area. Well, Wargaming.net recently announced that they’re planning to attend Gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Germany. But their press release didn’t answer an important question: will they be bringing more war machines?

The cluster of tanks that they brought to E3 was a part of their World of Tanks promotion, but they’re currently hyping their upcoming World of Warplanes MMO. I don’t know about you, but I have my fingers crossed that they’ll have a cargo-ship full of warplanes in tow when they pull into the Gamescom parking lot.

Either way, attendees will be able to get a little first-hand experience with World of Warplanes. “Media will be able to take a first look at World of Warplanes gameplay, as well as discover the main features of the game,” explained a spokesperson.

Wargaming.net has also been teasing a secret announcement that they’ll be making at the conference. “We’ll be sharing the first details on World of Warplanes, which we are very excited about. Not to mention our new announcement! There’s no better place than Gamescom to do that, and we look forward to this massive event,” said Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi.

So even if they don’t bring the war machines, Gamescom should still be juicy.
