Details for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD have been scarce following the initial announcement in the latest Nintendo Direct. We know the game is getting a graphical overhaul. We saw the Wolf Link amiibo, which looks pretty sweet, and we know that the amiibo will have some neat functionality that will, eventually, carry over into The Legend of Zelda Wii U (unofficial title) in some way. Thanks to a premature listing on the Amazon France website, Nintendo-Insider was able to scoop a few more juicy details for us.
It appears that the Wolf Link amiibo will unlock a new dungeon area, referred to as “La Cave du Crépuscule,” which is croissant-speak for The Cave of Twilight. Various other Zelda amiibo can be used to restore Link’s hearts or arrows in the game. The listing also revealed “Hero Mode,” and a new inventory system mapped out on the Wii U gamepad for easy access. Although the listing was pulled shortly after it went up, we expect to get all the details soon anyway as the game is set to release on March 4.
