The newest World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm, has been given a release date of December 7, 2010. This new expansion builds upon the content set in previous expansions Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Litch King (both of which will be required for play), and will include high-level adventures and a new level-cap of 85. The standard edition for this new expansion will be available for all currently supported versions of Windows (XP, Vista, and 7) as well as Mac OS, and will retail for $40. A special edition, which includes an art book, soundtrack, and in-game pet will also arrive on December 7th and will cost super-fans $80.  |
