Many longtime fans of Tron are looking forward to the release of Tron: Legacy, coming to theaters December 17. While the game, Tron: Evolution, was originally expected to release alongside the film, Disney Interactive Studios has just announced it will be hitting store shelves nearly two weeks before the film’s release. This means that fans will be now able to pick up a copy of the game on the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, or PC on December 7th, in preparation for the film. They also announced some interesting news about the game’s Collector’s Edition, however, it apparently only applies to Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Tron: Evolution will have a Collector’s Edition for both HD consoles (only) and they will retail for the hefty price of $130. While this is a substantial sum of money for one game, the Collector’s Edition will include a collectable light cycle model and a casing in which to house both it and the game. |
