UPDATE: Earlier we let you know about the Limited Edition Alan Wake set (the details of which can be found below). Initially, the LE version was listed on Walmart as having a May 25, 2010 ship date. However, Microsoft has announced at X10 that Alan Wake will be hitting store shelves a bit earlier. North American release: May 18 European realease: May 21 ORIGINAL POST: Walmart and Best Buy’s online stores have already put up Limited Edition Alan Wake box art and have a listed ship date of May 25, 2010. The Limited Edition will sell for $79.99 ($79.82 at Walmart). The box is “hardbound in quality linen” and is “designed to resemble a hardcover book.” The retailers were even so gracious as to include a succinct game synopsis and the contents of the Limited Edition bundle, which we have featured below the box art image.
