Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles Are Go!

Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles Are Go!

None

As is their yearly tradition, Microsoft has introduced new holiday bundles of its Xbox 360 console. With the Kinect having hit shelves earlier this year, however, this holiday season’s options have been somewhat diversified.

In the realm of the familiar: An Xbox 360 with 250 GB hard drive, packed in with a copy of Fable III, a code for a full downloadable copy of Halo Reach, and another for three months of Xbox LIVE Gold. Its MSRP? $299 USD.

Pushing the Kinect agenda: An Xbox 360 console, 250 GB hard drive, Kinect sensor, Kinect Adventures, and a downloadable copy of Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do. It also includes a three month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, and comes with an MSRP of $399.

It’s interesting the degree to which Microsoft is pushing their full game marketplace this year, including downloadable codes in both bundles that demonstrate users’ ability to purchase and play these titles without getting off the couch. It might provide a hint as to the direction Microsoft is planning to go with future hardware. That said, both bundles should be shipping out to stores as you read this.
