Microsoft has finally officially confirmed the price and release date of their wirelss N network adapter. Hitting store shelves throughout the week, the adapter will cost you $99.99 in the U.S. The N adapter performs at higher speeds – capable of picking up the N signal output by the latest Wi-Fi routers.

Joystiq has it on good authority that the previous a/b/g adapter will cease to be fabricated and will be discounted a mere $20 (i.e. $79.99). Below you’ll find a pic of the packaging as well as the company line.
