Rocket League launched this year to near universal acclaim. It’s soared high on both the PlayStation 4 and PCs, because apparently people love playing soccer with cars. It was oddly absent from the Xbox One, but that changed at The Game Awards 2015. It’s coming to the other console in February 2016, and the release is going to be extra special.

Did you notice anything special there? If you didn’t, something’s wrong. The Xbox One version of Rocket League will have nods to both Gears of War and Halo , Microsoft’s signature series. The two exclusive cars are Gears of Wars ‘ Armadillo and Halo ‘s Hogsticker.
No word on if the Xbox One version of Rocket League will feature cross-platform play. Currently, PlayStation 4 and PC players can actually participate in matches together.
