OK, so we all expected to be playing XCOM 2 on our Xbox Ones and PlayStation 4s in September. Which isn’t too bad of a gap after its February 5 PC release. Now, 2K has announced a very slight delay. Instead of seeing the game on September 6, we’re going to have to wait until September 27 instead. Which isn’t too long, though it’s a bit disappointing.
Let’s think about things rationally, though. We’re entering that game shopping season where it might make more sense to wait on getting XCOM 2 anyway. It’s supposed to be a great game, but we all know the titles released between August and October are ones that can be super cheap come the November Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
