XSEED Bringing Senran Kagura, Little King’s Story, and Xanadu to PCs

XSEED Bringing Senran Kagura, Little King’s Story, and Xanadu to PCs

XSEED Games is tapping into its back catalog to make PC gamers happy. The company has announced three Windows games for next year. Two will look familiar, and one’s all new to us.

Xanadu Next is the new one – a Nihon Falcom JRPG that is a spiritual successor to the Nintendo Entertainment System’s Faxanadu . Players control a knight who was near death, but has been resurrected. Now, he must travel the Harlech Islands to find the Dragon Slayer, fighting enemies, collecting essential items, and equipping Guardians for passive benefits. Players are also able to reset levels to redistribute and rebuild the hero.

Little King’s Story is a port based upon the Nintendo Wii version of the game. It’s a real-time strategy game where a boy-king named Corobo acquires a magical crown that allows him to order people around. With this newfound ability, he seeks to establish and grow a kingdom by gathering followers with specific abilities and heading out into the world to accomplish deeds big and small. It’s getting a visual upgrade, so it’ll look much prettier than it did on the Wii.

Finally, Xseed revealed that Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus, a Windows PC port of the 2014 PlayStation Vita game, is coming to computers too. Like Little King’s Story , it will be receiving the HD treatment. It will also have 20 playable characters from the Hanzo National Academy, Homura’s Crimson Squad, Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy, and Gessen Academy. Story-wise, it bridges the gap between the two Nintendo 3DS games, Senran Kagura Burst and Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson.

All three of these Windows PC games will arrive in 2016. Little King’s Story will arrive first, in early 2016. Xanadu Next will come next in spring 2016. Finally, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus will arrive last in summer 2016.
