As is the case with most online games these days, Max Payne 3’s multiplayer mode has had its fair share of cheaters, hackers, and all-around bad sports. To combat these losers, Rockstar has announced that they will be taking action against those who are “spoiling the multiplayer experience for honest players,” albeit in a rather unique, completely hilarious kind of way. Instead of outright banning any offenders right away, Rockstar will make sure that “anyone found to have used hacked saves, modded games, or other exploits to gain an unfair advantage in Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, or to circumvent the leaderboards will be quarantined from all other players into a ‘Cheaters Pool’, where they’ll only be able to compete in multiplayer matches with other confirmed miscreants.” That’s right, cheaters, you’re about to get a taste of your own medicine. 
Of course, you can do your part to help make Max Payne 3 a fairer game for everyone too. Anyone who sees players abusing hacks or cheats (no, “camping” doesn’t count) is encouraged to email Rockstar at [email protected] and include the offender’s platform, gamertag, violation, and any possible evidence of the transgression.
