New Max Payne Patch Introduces Anti-Cheating, Anti-Lag Measures

New Max Payne Patch Introduces Anti-Cheating, Anti-Lag Measures

A recent patch for Max Payne 3 has introduced “Automated Anti-Cheating Measures” to the game. However, Rockstar has not yet commented on how these measures work. This has caused some fans to question whether new anti-cheating measures were actually added at all, or if this is just some sort of marketing ruse.

Personally, I believe that these measures have been taken, and Rockstar simply has a head on their shoulders. If they detail how the measures stop cheating, it just lets cheaters find yet another way around it. So for now we should just take our mystery cheat protection and be happy.

The new patch has also integrated anti-lag protection measures, has supposedly reduced load times in multiplayer, and has changed some details about the way XP works. In addition, Polish language support has been added. You can check out the full list of changes on the official Rockstar Games website.
