Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon Cheats & Cheat Codes for CD-i and More

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon Cheats & Cheat Codes for CD-i and More

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon is one of the more obscure games in the Legend of Zelda franchise. This action-adventure game was actually developed and published simultaneously, alongside another Zelda game called Link: The Faces of Evil. Both games were released on October 10, 1993, for the CD-i.

Although neither game received much praise or positive attention, they stood out as two of the most unique games in the Legend of Zelda series. These were two of the only three Zelda games that were released on the CD-i. Neither Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon nor Link: The Faces of Evil are considered canon in the current timeline of Legend of Zelda.

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon Premise

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon follows the same basic plot as many of the other Legend of Zelda games. The evil Ganon has waged war against the land of Gamelon. The Duke of Gamelon has requested aid from the ruler of Hyrule, King Harkinian. Unfortunately, both King Harkinian and the brave warrior Link have gone missing in Gamelon. It is the player’s job to defeat Ganon, save Gamelon, and discover what happened to King Harkinian and Link.

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon Main Character

Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon is one of the few games where Zelda gets to be the star of her own story. After her father, King Harkinian, and Link go missing, Zelda travels to Gamelon with her elderly maid Impa. Zelda will fight her way through Ganon’s army of minions with her very own sword and shield. This is one of the few games that allow Zelda to be the playable hero for a change.
