Nintendo has announced a sequel to NES Remix , a Wii U title that gave players a new twist on Nintendo’s classic 8-bit titles with wacky challenges. NES Remix 2 will come out on April 25, and well sell on the Wii U eShop for $15. Classic games that will be remixed this time around include Super Mario Bros. 3 , Metroid , Kirby’s Adventure, Punch-Out! , Dr. Mario , Ice Hockey , and Super Mario Bros. 2.
The compilation will also include a full remixed game, Super Luigi Bros . Based on a popular challenge from NES Remix , it challenges Luigi to complete all the levels in the original Super Mario Bros. game, but traveling right to left instead of left to right. Luigi will have access to his signature high jump, helping players to overcome this challenge of approaching a familiar game in a new way.
