Americans haven’t had much of a chance to play Final Fantasy III. Other than the DS remake which came out a couple years ago and the games recent ports to iOS and Android, the game has been released in Japanese territories only. Well, now the classic JRPG is finally coming to a non-handheld console, and it’s probably not the console you’re thinking of. Final Fantasy III will, in fact, be a launch title for the OUYA. According to an email sent to OUYA’s Kickstarter backers, the game will be updated to make use of the OUYA’s high-definition graphics. A free demo will be available on the OUYA market for gamers who aren’t sure they want to take the Final Fantasy plunge.
