Kim Swift, the mind behind Valve’s Portal and contributor to the Left 4 Dead franchise, has teamed up with Airtight Games to create Soul Fjord , a new, download-only game. Strangely enough, the new game will be exclusive to the Ouya, Android’s new console. Given the Ouya’s June 4 th launch date, we can expect to see the game around the same time.
Though little gameplay content has come to light, we do know a few things about Soul Fjord . It’s a dungeon-crawl game with rhythm-based combat that mixes the music and aesthetics of the 70’s and 80’s with Norse mythology. The result is our protagonist, Magnus Jones, facing off with Disco Wizards, Smooth Trolls, and Barrel Giants in an attempt to prevent Ragnarok’s inception.
Let no one say that the Ouya doesn’t have some color to it.
