This weekend’s SPIKE TV Video Game Awards gave us our first look at the upcoming Alan Wake: American Nightmare. It looks a little like what would happen if Stephen King and Quentin Tarantino joined together to make a horror movie. Which is awesome. Unlike the previous game, it seems as if the darkness has a face, and that face is Alan’s. The villain in this game is an evil version of Alan Wake himself, writing all these horrible events into the story. You, armed with your trusty flashlight and shotgun, will have to find a way to outdo this villain, who has been named Mr. Scratch.
