Does Microsoft believe that if a consumer wishes to purchase the Kinect, they have no need for more than 4GB of memory? While we don’t have an answer to this question, this would seem to be the implication of only putting out a 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. Thankfully, based on the Australian packaging of the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle, Microsoft may have realized this oversight.  According to the 4GB Kinect bundle’s Australian packaging (via Joystiq), there will also be a 250GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle available at some point. The details of the 250GB bundle are similar to those of the 4GB bundle, however, the system will have a glossy black finish, a headset, and a much larger hard drive said to include a “game and demos.” We’ll be sure to let you know when this bundle becomes official, in which regions it will be available, how much it will cost, and what is included in the package. |
