At the Nintendo World 2011 event in Tokyo over the weekend, new details were revealed about the Nintendo 3DS. First of all, it was given a release date of February 26 in Japan. There will be ten games available at the release of the 3DS including Super Street Fighter IV, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, and three versions of Nintendogs + Cats.  The battery should last up to five hours when playing 3DS games, and up to eight hours when playing DS or DSi games. The battery takes about three and a half hours to charge. For those in the United States, Nintendo of America is holding a press event on January 19, and it is assumed that the US release date and release titles will be announced then. |
