Many of the gamers who grew up playing the original PlayStation likely have fond memories of the Parasite Eve series. While the series has been gone for many years, The 3rd Birthday looks to rekindle the franchise on the PSP. But wouldn’t it be great if we could get a new Parasite Eve on consoles? Perhaps we will.  According to statements made to VideoGamer.com by The 3rd Birthday’s executive producer Yoshinori Kitase, Square Enix may be considering a console release in the future. Kitase states “The team had a lot of experience and knew a lot about making a game for PSP which is why we chose PSP as the platform for this game.” He continues “But if this game turns out to be a success then we’d be looking at extending the franchise into ps3.” |
