A Machine For Pigs Slips To Summer

A Machine For Pigs Slips To Summer

After first growing from an experimental campaign add-on to an entirely new title, the next Amnesia game, A Machine for Pigs, has suffered the occasional setback, but was aiming for a second quarter release, which would have brought it out sometime before the end of this month. A post on the Frictional Games forums by Jen Nilson has indicated that this is no longer the case:

“We know we will not make Q2, we also know when the game will be ready for launch. We have not set the exact day yet. You can however make good use of the weather outside this summer and look forward to gaming with the piggies as the summer comes to an end.”

That would indicate a release toward the tail end of Q3, as the summer winds down and we start to transition into fall. Here’s hoping this is the final delay. I need a new reason to scream in the dark.
