Can someone please explain to me how the Aliens and the Predators stayed married for so long? Seriously. How many terrible movies and sub-par video games does it take to realize that this relationship is not working? Luckily, the divorce was finally finalized with last year’s Predators movie, and it looks like gamers are about to reap some of the benefits. Sega recently announced that Aliens: Infestation, an “action-heavy side-scrolling exploration game,” will be heading to the Nintendo DS in September. Now, I know that this news isn’t going fill the void left by Mega Man Legends 3, but this Contra-meets-Metroid side-scroller should offer at least a little comfort to the classic gamers among us. 
It has been a while since I had a definitive Alien experience in my pocket. I guess I’ll have to wait until September like everyone else. |
