Overwatch’ s newest heroine has been revealed. Blizzard is adding Ana Amari, one of Overwatch’s six founding members, to the game. She also happens to be the mother of Fareeha Amari, better known to players as Pharah. So much for all that Sombra teasing!
Ana’s a sharpshooter with a Biotic Rifle. Her darts can hurt enemies or heal allies. She has a Biotic Grenade too, with an area of effect attack that heals all allies and damages all enemies within its range. The grenade also temporarily blocks afflicted enemies’ healing and temporarily improves healing of all allies under its influence. That seems like it’d pair well with Mercy. She can also use a sleep dart to temporarily knock out a single opponent. Nano Boost, her ultimate ability, is a temporary buff for allies that increases their attack, defense, and speed.
She even has her own trailers. One’s all about exposition , but this one shows Overwatch ‘s Ana in action.
Here’s the best part. PC players can immediately begin trying Ana by choosing the Public Test Realm option when logging into the game. It’s really busy, but for a good reason! Ana is awesome!
