Anarchy Reigns Rains Down Japanese Demo

Anarchy Reigns Rains Down Japanese Demo

None

Anarchy Reigns is one of the stranger things to come out of SEGA in recent years. Though, considering it’s being developed by Platinum Games, which has a history that stretches back to Capcom’s defunct Clover studio, it’s not entirely surprising. A violent multiplayer brawler that mashes up a slew of existing Platinum properties while adding in some new faces, Anarchy Reigns has tenuous ties to both Bayonetta and Mad World. Its madcap style of hectic melee and ranged combat against foes and drones alike in open arenas has left many scratching their heads.

So the developers are releasing a demo. It will hit the Japanese PSN and XBLM on May 31 and include a playable portion of the story, as well as two types of online gameplay, to give prospective buyers a broad taste of what they’ll be getting. Will the demo come to territories outside the Land of the Rising Sun? As of yet, no word has been given, but the fact that there’s a demo floating around seems to point to the non-Japanese speaking world getting their hands on it at some point in the near future. Fingers crossed!
