As reported by Polygon on Monday, June 2, an Xbox One release of the current-gen console port of the 2D battle arena game Awesomenauts has been officially announced by the games developer, Ronimo Games.
Though no specific release date was disclosed, the Xbox One version of Awesomenauts Assemble is said to include the same content that’s available in the PlayStation 4 version, and ” both versions will continue to receive updates for as long as it’s commercially viable, ” Ronimo said.
The original iteration of Awesomenauts was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in May 2012, and then later released on PC in August of the same year.
The PlayStation 4 version was recently released back in March, and the Xbox One version will crop up for sale at some point later on in the year. We’ll bring you more details should more reach our ears.
