Slender: The Arrival Releases on Xbox 360 / PS3 Late-September

As detailed in a press release published on Friday, September 5, Slender: The Arrival developer Blue Isle Studios has announced that its horror game inspired by the fantastical creature Slenderman will be making its way to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later on this month.

Thanks to the independent publishing company Midnight City, Slender: The Arrival will be releasing on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3 on two separate days: Tuesday, September 23 for the PlayStation 3 and Wednesday, September 24 for Xbox 360.

For those who don’t know, Slender: The Arrival places you right in the middle of a mystery surrounding the fictional fictional character, Slenderman. Touted to place you in a dark, foreboding atmosphere, Slender: The Arrival offers a story that’s said to be “ fraught with terror, paranoia and other-worldly forces.

With the console release of Slender: The Arrival , you’ll see new story elements and extended levels that expand upon the Slenderman mythos. What’s more is that the extra content contained in the console release of Slender: The Arrival will also be offered to the Steam version of the game without any additional charges, as free DLC.

Slender: The Arrival will be available to purchase digitally via the PlayStation Network and the Xbox LIVE Games Store for $9.99.

Back in early June, two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls stabbed their friend (also 12 years of age) to near-death in some nearby woods to appease the fictional monster Slenderman. We’ll bring you more news on Slenderman should further information reach our ears.
