Though the BAFTA awards for achievement in film were handed out last month, BAFTA held a special ceremony recently for special achievement in video games. Who took home top honors this year? Heavy Rain took home the most prizes with wins for Technical Achievement, Best Story, and Best Original Score. Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood took home the award for best action game, but lost out on best gameplay to Super Mario Galaxy 2.  However, the night’s big prize, Best Game, went to none other than Mass Effect 2. Though the game didn’t win any other prizes, it did get top honors from BAFTA, which certainly counts as a win for an almost year-old game. |
