According to EA project manager Kevin O’Leary the pre-order total for Battlefield 3 has ballooned up from 1.25 million to “a couple million.” Previously, it was reported that Battlefield 3 was pre-ordered approximately ten times more than Battlefield 2 was, and Battlefield 2 went on to sell over nine million units. We can only imagine how much better Battlefield 3 is doing now, having reached a couple of million sales before the game has even come out.
