Be the Bulkiest Version of Iron Man this Halloween

Be the Bulkiest Version of Iron Man this Halloween

One of the coolest Avengers costumes ever appeared at the 2015 New York Comic Con. Tom DePetrillo put together a $60,000, 9 and 1/9 feet tall, 83lb Hulkbuster costume based on the custom armor Iron Man wore to combat the Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron . Oh, and it’s priced at $60,000. It’s really amazing and crazy, and you have to see it in action to appreciate the level of detail that went into this cosplay.

DePetrillo has been making costumes for 19 years, and it took him 1,600 hours to make the Hulkbuster suit. It also has eye lasers, sound effects, and 915 LED lights to make it match the armor in the movie, which all need 58 AA batteries to run. The whole thing is made of aluminum, EVA foam, plastic, and polycarbonate.

If $60,000 is a bit much, at least there’s a version for around $50 .
