Bethesda’s Caught the Mobile Bug

Bethesda’s Caught the Mobile Bug

Fallout Shelter was Bethesda’s E3 2015 surprise. The mobile game launched out of nowhere, ended up being a huge success, and is estimated to have made over $5 million within its first two weeks. There were a billion sessions on iOS devices in the first four weeks. Naturally, this means Bethesda’s going to make more.

GameSpot talked to Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard. At the 2016 DICE Summit, he said, “We’re gonna do more.” However, he didn’t talk about what the new Bethesda mobile games will be like. He only confirmed that people at Bethesda play mobile games and they’re planning to make more.

Bethesda is going to hold a E3 2016 media briefing on June 12 at 7pm PT/9pm CT/10pm ET. Perhaps we’ll see another surprise mobile game release this year too.
