Big Hitman Patch Releases Prior to Physical Launch in January

Hitman developer Io-Interactive released a substantial update for the game today that brings it up to speed with its upcoming physical version, set to launch in January. The “November update” is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players worldwide.

In addition to fixes that improve game stability, the update makes it possible for players to access all of their unlockable items offline. Before, the game required a persistent internet connection to display these items. Also included in the update is an overhauled statistics display, some visual tweaks to the pause menu and mission complete screen, and a new ability for Agent 47 that lets him pull people off ledges from below. Io-Interactive notes that this feature is currently bugged and will be fixed in a future update.

The Hitman November update clocks in at 2.4GB for PS4 and 2.1GB on PC; meanwhile, Xbox One players will need to prepare significantly more hard drive space, as the update requires 13.6GB to install.
