Binding of Isaac’s Expansion Gets Release Date

A while back, we reported on The Binding of Isaac’s new massive expansion pack, Wrath of the Lamb. The pack is advertised as having 50% more game content, including new challenges, new achievements, new bosses, and new items for a mere three-dollar price tag.

Up until now, the expansion pack has only been given a vague “sometime in May” release date, but now that we are a week into May, this date has gotten a bit more specific. According to the game’s creator Edmund McMillen, The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb will be available on Steam on May 28th.



This announcement came with a creepy trailer that detailed some of the new expansion’s additional content. The Wrath of the Lamb expansion will be the only expansion The Binding of Isaac will receive, as McMillen has since dedicated himself to the development of Super Meat Boy: The Game, a mobile version of Super Meat Boy. Still, don’t let this get you down, as Wrath of the Lamb is easily one of the biggest expansions that any indie game has ever received.
