Now that BioShock Infinite is finally out, I’m sure all of you are killing steampunk monsters with crows that you have summoned. The game came out for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360, but what about Mac users?
Luckily, MAC users are in luck. According to The Control Room, Bioshock Infinite will be getting a MAC release this summer. Unfortunately, an official release date could not be given, but at least Mac users can look forward to warm weather and sky cities.
Macs only account for about 4% of the total Steam user base according to The Control Room. So it’s possible that a Mac version would actually be a losing proposition for Irrational Games. However, that just goes to show you the dedication Irrational has to their fanbase. Even though they are taking a huge risk on bringing the game to Mac platforms, they seem to simply care more about pleasing their fans than end profits.
That’s how a game development company should be run!
