Much like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before it, Call of Duty: Black Ops has recently picked up Hardened and Prestige Editions to be released at the game’s launch. While there will be no working night vision goggles this time around, these editions’ contents are equally as ridiculous, yet alluring.  The Hardened Edition will come complete with a copy of the game in a SteelBook case, a code for an Avatar or Home outfit, four extra co-op maps not in the standard version, and a Black Ops medal with a display case for $79.99. However, for $149.99, you could purchase the Prestige Edition, which comes with everything in the Hardened Edition plus a remote control RC-XD Surveillance Vehicle with a built in camera and microphone that transmits video and audio to the also included receiver. This receiver will have a backlit, 2 inch color display and will include both high speed and low speed settings. |
