The recent PS3 hacks have opened the floodgates for hackers to do all sorts of illegitimate things with the console. The latest concern is that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 have been compromised, and players logging into online matches could find themselves being slain by cheaters with auto-aim and speed boosts. Worse yet: they could have all their stats wiped.  Robert Bowling, creative strategist for Infinity Ward, warned players to stick with trusted private matches for now, and to report hacked servers to Sony. |
