Update 1.06 for Modern Warfare 2 fixed the multiplayer game-breaking Javelin glitch, but it appears to have brought its own problems. For starters, many private matches have been compromised, as randoms have been able to enter these private sessions.
“Update on the matchmaking glitch that has players joining hacked Private Matches with custom rule sets when attempting to search for Public games; we’re aware and currently working on a fix. I’ll keep you posted on its progress,” posted Community Manager Robert Bowling on the MW2 forums. Also, the Xbox 360 apparently has a glitch where unlimited ammo and unlimited kill streaks are cropping up. Check out the YouTube video below for a glimpse. |
