Call of Duty, Minecraft, and GTA were the PlayStation Store’s 2015 Best Sellers

Call of Duty, Minecraft, and GTA were the PlayStation Store’s 2015 Best Sellers

Sony’s released some announcements concerning the best selling games on the PlayStation Store last year. Brace yourself. Wait, actually, don’t. There aren’t any surprises here. Some of the number one sellers are also the most obvious. Turns out, people really like Call of Duty, Minecraft, and Grand Theft Auto .

When it comes to consoles, both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 had those three in their top three. The order was just different for each one. On the PS4, Call of Duty: Black Ops III was first, Grand Theft Auto V was second, and Minecraft was third. On the PS3, Minecraft was the top seller, followed by Black Ops III , then GTA V.

The only real surprise came with the PlayStation Vita. The top seller there was Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. Who’d have thought, right? Minecraft was the handheld’s second best seller, followed by Gravity Rush.

As for add-ons, Destiny and Call of Duty were popular. Destiny: The Taken King was the PlayStation 4’s best selling bonus, while the top DLC on the PlayStation 3 was Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ s Havoc.

Anyone else really feel like playing Minecraft now?
