Activision Blizzard, in an investor conference call picked up by IGN, confirmed holiday 2009 as the release window for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Details concerning the title’s content are still unknown. However, the title of the game seems to indicate a direct sequel to the original InfinityWard-developed IP.
Also, Raven Software’s highly mysterious title, Singularity, will be published and released by Activision Blizzard this summer along with the developer’s classic IP, Wolfenstein.
The gameplay in Singularity is centered on the TMD; a Time Manipulation Device. “It will be able to move a single object through the spectrum of time… utilized both in classic FPS-style combat as a weapon and in Half-Life style puzzle solving.”
