Capcom Announces Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition

Capcom Announces Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition

None

Capcom of Europe recently announced that Resident Evil 6 is going to be getting a swanky collector’s edition bundle.

The bundle includes the Resident Evil 6 game, a steel book case for the game, an exclusive hardcover artbook, a DLC code for an RE6 dynamic theme for the PS3 or an RE6 avatar for the Xbox 360, an Ivy University, Tall Oaks sweatshirt (the setting of Leon’s story), a set of RE6 forces emblems described as “High quality enameled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, and RE6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki,” and finally a Needle Bomb collectors box. That’s a lot of stuff.

Note that this is not the Anthology Edition which will include Resident Evils 1-5 along with Resident Evil 6, nor is it the Archives Edition which contains Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Resident Evil Degeneration, nor is it the Japanese-only Premium Edition which comes with a $1,300 leather jacket fashioned after Leon’s attire. There sure are a lot of special bundles for Resident Evil 6 out there.

Right now, we don’t know if it will be heading to the U.S. or how much it will eventually cost. However, it’s obvious that any true fan of the series will purchase all the bundles. All of them.
